PICTURE AT LEFT
A band of horses is a family of horses. This band of horses finds a lost colt foal. The lead mare is at the left of the foal and the stallion is at the right. After three days and the help of this band the foal made it's way back to it's own family. It is not uncommon for colt foals to get lost within the herd. I have always seen them make it back to their own band eventually.
They say you can see the spirit of wild horses in their eyes. This picture is an enchanting and good example of that beautiful spirit.
The stallion and lead mare comforts the lost foal.
